MOONG DAL HALWA

1 Moong dal washed  100 gm       1 Preparation:
2 Ghee  140 gm       2 The Moong Dal: Pick wash and soak for 3 hours. Drain, put in a grinder and 
3 Gramflour  30 gm       3 make a fine paste.
4 Sugar  250 gm       4 The Cashewnuts: Split.
5 Cardamom  0.6 gm       5 The Cardamoms: Peel, discard the skin and pound the seeds with a pestle.
6 Cahewnuts  10 gm       6 Khoya: Grate
7 Khoya  50 gm       7 The Syrup: Dissolve sugar in water (Approximately 250 ml) in a handi, bring 
8 Raisins  10 gm         to a boil over medium heat for 10 minutes and continue to boil for 10 minutes.
               
              COOKING
              Heat 30 gm of ghee in a kadhai, add gramflour and stir over medium heat for 1 minute. Then add the ground dal and stir continuously for 30 minutes adding the remaining ghee gradually . Now add the cardamom powder, stir, add the syrup and cook for 5 minute. emove and keep until warm. Add khoya, cashewnuts and raisins, mix well.
